About HGS

The newest brain child from author Alodia Thaliel, HGS - Home Grown Slop, is an idea born from being so tired of hearing and seeing AI story after AI story on my feed.

She thought, well, I'm a romance novelist, have experience with YouTube scripts, and can render my own 3D visuals... so why don't I make my own?

Instead of slop, HGS makes good-for-you home grown romance stories. Fast-paced and dramatic, these stories are meant to be entertaining and gripping, while satisfying a sweet tooth for stories that are a little over the top, but that's their joy. Sincere in it's premise, this is not tongue-in-cheek look at the camera kind of drama, HGS commits to it's premises, even when they may sound over the top at first glance.

No AI, just real, human art, made to be indulgent and fun.

Episodes will be released in vertical format on TikTok and YouTube beginning late 2026.
